Thread: Brasero CD burner problems

hi updated mobile-broadband-provider-info , noticed had linked brasero cd burner when went delete , reinstall burner later on synaptic package manager.
noticed brasero burner no longer burning cdr's-- thats why went reinstall.
went delete mobile-broadband-provider-info , wanted remove network manager why , more importantly why has mobile broadband provider info made both links ?
theres many people @ moment unable burn cds.
i'm using maverick

p.s forced mobile broadband provider info downgrade in synaptic package manager went reinstall brasero dao bit of software @ same time in synaptic , hey presto started working again. i'm sill left wondering if there connection ? having said tried reinstall brasero twice beforehand (without trying work things out )!!
cannot understand why programmers making things more difficult in ubuntu.

brasero know giving sort of problems , issues, check site , see mean.

best solution remove brasero (terminal: sudo apt-get purge brasero) , install k3b and/or xfburn. i'm using both , both perform well! escpecially k3b has many options , can compared nero burningtools.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
