i'm attempting access ecollege's classlive pro. open link "launchjoinsession.ed"

i've removed openjdk (and icedtea) , replaced sun java via third party repository detailed here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/java

still following error in firefox when opening:

xml parsing error: not well-formed location: file:///tmp/launchjoinsession.ed line number 1, column 4667:
the specific column number changes each time open it. check on character indicated once , found nothing amiss. might unix vs windows encoding problem , not java?

help!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
