as far know there no option boot "last used" os. can show how edit grub configuration file on default os booted. important here how many grub entries have, default should normal dualboot:
code:
linux headers linux headers (recovery) memtest memtest 86 /dev/sda windows
making total of 5 entries, starting @ 0. last entry, in example windows, have entry number 4. once booted ubuntu can open terminal , type
code:
gksu gedit /etc/default/grub
open configuration file. there edit line says
code:
grub_default=0
there change number entry number of os boot default (change 4 if want windows shown in example). can edit line
code:
grub_timeout=10
on how many seconds grub bootloader supposed "wait" input before loading default os.

after done changes, save settings.

type command in terminal
code:
sudo update-grub
changes take effect.

done
