have read , every 1 says go "system" or "application" or , in ubuntu 11.10 can not find select application or system inn other versions of ubuntu
. want win7 default start, @ present ubuntu is.
how can find "system" or "application" able follow rest of instructions , change boot sequence

i assume mean when start computer , screen pops asks select os boot?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
