Thread: Installation stuck at partman-md for several hours

i built new system last night 2 1tb hdds. using 11.10 alternate installer , trying create 1tb raid 1 root partition.

however, installer has been showing "running partman-md..." 11 hours now. progress bar @ 77% , window title says "installing base system".

i'm not sure if stuck or creating md0 partition taking really long time.

have rough idea of how long building 1tb raid partition should take? also, there anyway @ sort of installer log while installer running? tried ctrl+alt+fn didn't anything.

in advance.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
