Thread: Oneiric unity/lightdm logout script

i'm looking way run script on logout or shutdown, before gui closed. analagous gdm's postsession/default. ultimately, need execute virtualboxmanage savestate in logout process.

seems though should part of unity, rather gnome or lightdm, doesn't seem exist in of three. suggestions or direction research welcome.

hi dsjtc, did find solution ?
looking way run backup script @ end of unity session. gnome 2 using "session_save_yourself" event, it's not working anymore in gnome3/unity.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
