w: failed fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/stebbins/handbrake-releases/ubuntu/dists/oneiric/main/source/sources  404  not found    w: failed fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/stebbins/handbrake-releases/ubuntu/dists/oneiric/main/binary-i386/packages  404  not found    e: index files failed download. have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
i when `apt-get update` keeps giving errors when automatic update runs. added install handbrake (obviously) can't find out how remove 2 list.

under 'other software' tab , untick appropriate boxes.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
