Thread: SD Card reader not working

laptop: hp dv6000
os: ubuntu 11.10
sd.ms/pro.mmc.xd reader attached laptop
cards tried - 1. pny micro sd on sd adapter (2gb) 2. dane-elec sd card (256mb)


both cards work fine in windows nothing happens in ubuntu.

tried lspci below output

02:05.0 firewire (ieee 1394): ricoh co ltd r5c832 ieee 1394 controller (rev ff)
02:05.1 sd host controller: ricoh co ltd r5c822 sd/sdio/mmc/ms/mspro host adapter (rev ff)
02:05.2 system peripheral: ricoh co ltd r5c592 memory stick bus host adapter (rev ff)
02:05.3 system peripheral: ricoh co ltd xd-picture card controller (rev ff)

can newbie??

did little research , here lspci

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
