Thread: Taskbar won't auto-hide 11.10

my taskbar isn't auto-hiding anymore. don't know happened collapsed day yesterday until 8pm. know practically nothing os. i'm on netbook screen space of importance. bar stays out , takes room can't see on browser page , don't have horizontal scroll bar on bottom either. help!

try in terminal:
unity --replace

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
