Watermark settings (size) not working

i using text watermark saved setting. size set 18 in saved setting. each , every time add watermark, though, have reenter 18 in size or comes out larger that. had problem in acrobat 9 pro (windows). upgraded acrobat xi pro (windows), , i'm seeing same issue here. typical watermarks? there workaround? thanks!

double check in watermark settings have "scale relative target page" unchecked. there similar setting when you're printing you'll want uncheck under appearance options... link.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
