adobe captivate video publisher upload button does nothing

hi, on 2 different machines, adobe captivate video publisher upload button nothing.  add support says it's not available when called in on trial product.  hmmm if won't before buy, happen after?  c'mon... i've purches thousands of dollars worth of adobe software , own creative cloud ...and brushoff that?  oh , chat system wasn't working becuase queue full....

it seems it's not day...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
