Bridge keeps crashing on me.

it's disconcerting. bridge continually crashing on me. open folder lot of images in in bridge , crashes. can go on 5 or 6 times until give up. ideas? if reinstall it, using creative cloud, guess have uninstall first. then, have re-install either indesign or illustrator, forget which. so, because of that, i'll need unintall illustrator or indesign, too. right?

an unistall solves problems.  before solutions can offered need know little more.

 

what os?  how ram?  video driver date?  have latest version of bridge installed?  (click on - updates).

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
