HELP with JS Maths

hi peeps,

 

i need create code will.

 

if dropdown box (group4) selected 1 qauntity added qty_row2.

 

i dont know js , not know start.

 

i dnt have meny options behind drop down box.

 

ive done programing few times need if else statment this???

 

please help.

create checkbox updates text field

 

so far have got code:

 

var 1 = this.getfield("checkbox1");

var 2 = this.getfield("text1");

if (one.value == 'yes') {

    two.value='500'

} else if (one.value == 'off') {

    two.value='300'

}

 

cannot seem run though ideas??? headed in right direction?
