Making Saved Copies Non-Editable

i have developed form need send customers them fill out , send order services. problem have been having customer tends "recycle" saved copies , change fields think important. end missing lot of important stuff , end sending wrong information. force user save copy of original (which easy part), saved copy no longer editable, forcing user open original copy , start again scratch each order. asking possible?

it hard protect people themselves. have many options.

 

1) have them electronically sign document, make more difficulty them change content.

2) create form send button. pdf file submit order data server or via email company. save order data on computer incase there issue, have send button script clear form data when finished. you, of course, need send them finished form them acknowledgement. of course, send them not editable.

3) create button script locking of fields. see acrobat scripting forum.
