Replies erroneously showing previous entry.

systems info:

  • acrobat x pro 10.1.6, patches applied in order
  • acrobat uninstall , reinstall not fix issue
  • macintosh os 10.7.x , 10.8.x
  • all machines affected same way

 

we using adobe acrobat shared reviews routing our internal documents fro proofing.  when users reply previous users comments, after have entered 4 or 5 replies, next reply show has text previous reply.  not case, text field emtpy, looks acrobat helping out , "pre-populated" field previous entry.  users move on next reply without realizing last reply empty.  not know field empty unless click on text field , erroneous "pre-populated" text disappears , shows blank text field.  odd behavior.

 

it seems me caching or screen redraw issue acrobat, cannot confirm that. have replicated problem in acrobat x1. have tried scour internet info on no avail.  else having issue , if has solved problem.

the issue reproducible @ our end. can follow workaround press space bar or edit text if view pre-populated entry in reply. pressing space-bar or editing text ensure pre-populated text not disappear.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
