Thread: Access Files from Mac Backup


so after performing these 3 commands sudo transferred files onto new hard drive. (look @ thread more info: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=852144) members posted forum help.

1. sudo cp -r /path/to/macdrives /seagate/warrenbowling300/newdirectory
2. cd ~/seagate/warrenbowling300
3. sudo chown warrenbowling300.warrenbowling300 *

did not want run sudo nautilus , risk destructing documents need. have copy of whole hard drive can mess , try whatever. did run sudo chown warrenbowling300.warrenbowling300 * showing blank text file. what do?

directory file (if helps): seagate/warrenbowling300/back-up/backups.backupdb/(then various dates backed up)
