Thread: dinovo volume, touchpad, mute and media buttons fail

coming 2 years of running ubuntu 10.04, i'm finding difficulties xubuntu 11.10.

after rather wel know fix logitech dinovo keyboard work in xubuntu 11.10, keys refuse work.

when using volume slider , mute button on keyboard notify window shows up.
can volume bar moving , red x appearing in window no further effect.
actual sound volume not affected this. little mixer icon in panel nothing.

using external usb dac, alsa.

missing?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
