Thread: nvidia quadro 600 drivers diffuculty

dear ubuntu users new (sort of) ubuntu please bare me.

got nvidia quadro 600 (my pc self built asus motherboard , 2 display setup main 1 hyundai image quest , other ibm screen)

put in quadro , turned on ubuntu installed drivers ( post release updates not reccomended broke ubuntu before) when restarted main monitor @ 640x480 , not go higher said in nvidia x server settings , other monitor not work.

tried changing resolution in normal ubuntu display settings said @ 1027x768 , applying did not work.

there way of fixing problems? please tell me how

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
