Thread: Remove/disable the theme cog on login

hi all,

have ubuntu 11.10, gnome 3.

edited lightdm.conf file replace background image on logon workspace, disabled guest-login leaving me "username" login box , "other..." logon box.

replaced background image via:

code:

$ sudo gedit /etc/lightdm/unity-greeter.conf

disabled guest logon via:

code:

$ sudo gedit /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf

code:

allow-guest=false

i somehow disable, remove otherwise hide cog displayed on top-right corner of user login box (where username shown , presented password field only).

not want theme changed or switched me or other user (it personal laptop other users friends use occasionally).
