Thread: Ubuntu 11.10 on Virtualbox 4.1.8 with Hostmachine Windows 7

hi,

in dell laptop (host os-windows 7) ,i have installed virtualbox 4.1.8 , installed ubuntu 11.10 inside virtualbox.installation ok have display issues.the ubuntu not showing properly.i have enabled 3d acceleration , have installed guest additions.but still display not showing properly.in linux can see 2 desktop portions.the desktop showing small can see background picture again.

kindly help.

i run gnome classic in vb, not of when comes unity...but

unity 2d? if not work may need install video driver. have tried recovery mode?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
