Why are text frames shifting upon PDF/x-1a export?

strange problem.

 

mac os 10.7.5 / indesign 7.5.3 (cs5)

 

suddenly have page shifts it's text frame only upon pdf/x-1a export. indesign page appears fine. standard, low resolution, proofing pdf appears fine. issue present pdf/x-1a used. , appears happen on 1 page of 36 page peice.

if export pages 4 , 5 pdf/x-1a page 5 appears fine. when export either piece there problem,

 

i'm dumbfounded why 1 page shifting text frame upon export. ideas?

you're exporting, not distilling, right? , happens on 1 page?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
