Button Component Text Rendering Clipping Problem

i have odd issue labels on as3 button components come stock flash cs6. if have button label "press me" example, right have of "e" in "me" clipped until scroll mouse on button. when whole label shifts little , shows entire label no clipping. can see clipping come , go resize swf. buttons , scale movie require, buttons odd clipping thing , x,y shift of text. ideas?

 

i have in code well:

 

stage.scalemode = stagescalemode.show_all;

 

but didn't change anything. seems component. else seems scale accordingly.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
