How can i disable Illustrator from changing my language / keyboard layout.

have azerty laptop , qwerty external keyboard. switching application illustrator changes language , therefore keyboard layout. no other application this.

if on mac

 

apple >> system prefereces >> keyboard >> input sources  there keyboard shortcut.

(not sure why keyboard shortcuts button greyed out, may need admin user account, , not find option in keybaord shortcuts manually.

dig around here , should find answer depending on want do, disable other languages or other.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
