How do I create an interactive pdf form my clients can actually use?
in new cs6 indesign (which easy use make forms) i've gone through steps make beautiful form buttons, text fields, , hyperlinks work (great!) i've stumbled across 1 vital problem: submit form button not work!
i’ve set i’ve seen done on videos, “submit form” type, address “mailto: emailaddress.”
once exported file pdf interactive form, "print form" button works well, , though i'd fixed problem when downloaded adobe reader read form, however, no matter type of computer use it, when hit "submit form" button, message saying effect of “you must open in browser” pops up.
when dragged pdf document browser message suggested, not did “submit form” button still not work, cannot interact of buttons or fields!
my goal here simple: make interactive form clients can access online (whether downloadable pdf or directly on website) can fill out , submit directly our email. many of our clients older, i’d make easy possible them use our system, , able hit “submit form” button instead of having go through trouble of attaching finished pdf filled out email , submitting us.
all videos i’ve come across far talk how make these forms, not how set them used realistically business. can have appreciated, don’t mind how gets done, long easy clients access form , fill out , quickly.
thank in advance,
