I have been unable to get Photoshop Elements 11 to show in my Open With Programs

i have been unable photoshop elements 11 show in open programs list. program installed not show in open programs.

hi,

 

you don't operating system using i'll assume windows 7 - try this.

 

1) select file want open

2) right click on , go open option select choose default program at bottom of list - following should open

3) @ bottom of list, there other programs, may need scroll down. if pse not in list, continue following.

 

4) use browse button browse following (omit x86 if on 32bit system)

 

"c:\program files (x86)\adobe\photoshop elements 11\photoshopelementseditor.exe"

 

i'm assuming want open image in editor.

 

5) uncheck always use... option, otherwise double clicking on file cause editor open default.

 

6) click on ok

 

pse should appear on open list.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
