Random status in a Multi State Object

i building folio. in folio there spread button should change state of mso. pretty easy.

 

adding button goes next/previous state of mso or perticular state (number) pre defined in [button , forms] window. easy.


but come tricky part (and yes, have been searching on place). how can have button 'pick' random state of mso.

 

hope can me out.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
