i have asus m2n sli deluxe motherboard , i'm using integrated "raid" feature have 3 500 gb hard drives become 1tb using raid 5. have regular sata disk have operating systems installed on. dual-booted between ubuntu 11.10 , xp (both 64-bit... i'm cheap buy win7). have xp documents, desktop, etc. redirected raid5 , same ubuntu can't find how make volume mount automatically @ login. excellent.

in disk utility 1.0 tb hard disk /dev/dm-1 , when manually mount it mounts /media/raid5

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
