Thread: Lost Automounting on 10.04

i updated kernel while back, , since automounting of cd/dvd , usb devices no longer works

can use disk utility mount , un-mount devices still.

i've tried turning off/on automounting in nautilus, no luck.

ideas?

just quick thought.

have checked gnome configuration editor assure automount option being cycled nautilus?

"system tools/configuration editor/apps/nautilus/preferences/media_automount"



* after updating kernel, i'll assume have rebooted.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
