Thread: Possible to disable login splash?

hi,

possible disable/replace blue colored login splash image (one xubuntu written on animation of bunch of fireflies underneath) in xubuntu?

if yes, how?

p.s. - have running version of xubuntu karmic on arm development board. understand, karmic outdated, version received along arm development board...so have live it.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
