Thread: Problem installing Kubuntu after Wubi uninstallation

ok here's head scratcher makes grown mean weep.

computer:

acer aspire 7551-7422
amd

prolog
installed ubuntu ubuntu environment under wubi duel boot.

few weeks later uninstalled ubuntu via wubi

trying install kubuntu

problem:

kubuntu install message

ubuntu still present

how remove ubuntu can kbuntu.

i'm lost because unlike other computers have know idea how partion menu.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
