Thread: unistalling Avast virus scan for linux

i installed deb package avast4workstation_1.3.0-2_i386.deb using dpkg , i'm not happy program. want un-install , i've tried use dpkg -r avast4workstation_1.3.0-2_i386.deb command line returns error message saying needs program name , not package came in. i've looked in /usr/bin , cannot find anything. when whereis avast tells me located in path cannot find , when doing ls- a. can me. having program installed doesn't hinder use of operating system, don't wasting space , having software installed not intend use. not that, love know process , commands un-installing deb packages once installed. i'm using ubuntu 11.10 , bash shell. help!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
