Thread: Why Mount Extended..?


trying find out why root part full started playing few things checking/learning df -h,sudo blkid , uuid's found out in fstab system mounting extended, not external written before partition installed ubuntu (10gig root,50gig /home , 3gig swap) mounts /home , swap. dualboot winxp , ubuntu11.10

don't understand mounting process @ if wishes explain it...

far why / full or said full should have no clue. gparted telling me 1 thing disk usage telling me another. did room (10%) running "apt-get clean" mind so...

du -h /var/log/
it might idea , go synaptic delete unused linux kernels

var log might offender , not sure how safe delete contents
