nope.. experience projects (bids etc ) pretty long time ago web application wanted built using dot net framework, vb code behind , sql. had app halfway done , having trouble doing specific thing " cart "...the tally on items selected in app , number of each item ...

anyway, approach " want project done" side...

the deal bid, accept one, put money acct service in 'escrow' pay it, , product ( in case code ) , pay up.

 

i got many bids people didnt know entailed , didn't care.. avalanche of " can this, $ xxx " , no asking more details done already, how database set or anything...


i realized after couple weeks i'd need done pro software developer face face.

 

i realized year later there no way wanted particular version of dot net framework...

 

i think can done project has been in mothballs long take me 2 weeks figure out did then... i've forgotten gawd awful code stuff had learn got done.

 

anyway, experience crowdsourcing not good...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
