Image document looks 'cloudy' after saving

i saved logo i've completed @ work using cs6, , saved in cs5 format , pdf. when open them both (one in illustrator , other in adobe reader) both have cloudy, hazy effect on them. colours aren't bright , crisp when saved them @ work in cs6. have them saved rgb well...at least that's showed document colour mode when checked it.

 

anything explain this? i've had before never thought until now. i'd love know causes it!

color management - or lack of same. have either mis-tweaked monitor's color or using specific, possibly wrong color profiles without using color management in adobe apps. boils down these basic facts, opens whole universe of complication. in case, have reading do.... start resetting system's color settings factory defaults , work way through info can find on teh subject on teh internet.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
