Intermittent, inconsistent playback problems in Premiere Pro CS6
before start: i'm not computer guy, please patient me.
this problem prompted me post question, though i've had similar problems before.
i'm using macbook pro, 15 inch, late 2011
processor 2.2 ghz intel core i7
memory 4 gb 1333 mhz ddr3
graphics amd radeon hd 6750m 512 mb
software mac os x lion 10.7.5 (11g63)
premiere settings:
video rendering , playback:
renderer: mercury playback engine gpu acceleration
video
display format: timecode
audio
display format: audio samples
i'm editing video. things going great. randomly, nothing changing in premiere settings, or computer settings or (other opening web browser periodically troubleshooting advice), 1 of audio clips goes out.
i rendered work area. rendered audio. deleted audio clip , brought down timeline. audio works in source monitor window, bring timline stops.
this incredibly frustrating. because don't understand how can randomly stop working. software isn't cheap, should it's supposed do. being able see , hear video you're editing seems pretty fundamental function shouldn't subject random bugs.
this clip working fine minute ago, it's not.
help! please!
new development: deleted file project window , re-imported it. works now. but! shouldn't have happened in first place, right? if can me understand how prevent type if thing happening again future awesome. don't want have continually re-import various clips.
thanks!
