PDF iFilter 11.0.01 for x64 is not usable

i use traditional chinese windows 7 x64 home premium sp1 , adobe reader 11.0.02.

 

i don't use "windows search" service , have disabled it.

 

today un-installed old adobe pdf ifilter 9 x64 (from programs , features), restarted pc , installed latest pdf ifilter 11.0.01 x64. also, after installation, appended path environment variable, correctly, full path of bin sub-folder under new ifilter's default installation folder, i.e., c:\program files\adobe\adobe pdf ifilter 11 64-bit platforms\bin .

 

now, in windows explorer, when search serach box (at upper righthand corner), syntax content:<search keyword>, no result returned pdf file when know <search keyword> contained in pdf files in folder.

 

another bad thing... have file searching utility called "fileseek 3.0", released in april year.  after installation of ifilter 11.0.01, hangs when searching pdf files.

 

there no problem before today, when ifilter 9 used.

 

so, wrong 11.0.01 ifilter? or missed something?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
