what do when every time switch pages pop-up @ bottom stating wants run add-ons flash player! also, every since updates last week have been getting unwanted pop-ups on webpages though have pop-up blocker turned on in windows! annoying when porn pop-ups when trying read story! have been unable use button on sites since ther last update!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
