Rotate Tool not working consistently

hi driving me crazy, rotate canvas tool seems buggy s*&t. have read can open gl issue. graphics cards supported " ati radeon hd 5770 " adobe issue comes , goes, same files allow , 5 min later refuse rotate saying need have open gl.

 

i have set prefernces on normal basic , advanced , there seems no consistency works , doesn't

 

please here appreciated getting tired of trying figure out why...

using  cs6 creative suite...

what version of gpu driver running.  there lot of buggy versions between 12.8 , 13.3 beta.  not sure latest.  card one.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
