Small file size, but still high quality?

hello, filming weddings clients unable export them small enough file size able see on slower computer. , pain when doesn't fit on dvd. these videos somewhere around 2 hours long. have them still hd. way have been succesful upload them youtube download them off again. there way this? have tried h.264.  thank time!

use adobe media encoder , h.264. it's best option small file size , hq playback. should use ame encode dvd. 2 hours fit on dvd. if want hd burn bluray. format hold nicely compressed 2 hr movie. it's done time. have learn encoding distribution. standard presets good.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
