Thread: 11.10 Matrix theme and Screensaver

i guess 11.10 gtk3 themes compatible only, , gtk2 not work. also, 11.10 not come screen saver @ all.


installed xscreensaver, has matrix theme not "matrixview gl" shows faces of movie characters in green letters.


guestion is:

question #1: matrix theme 11.10?

question #2: how can install matrixview gl screen saver?

followed screen saver directions. ./configure works., but sudo make, and sudo make install give me error.

*** no rule make target `install'. stop.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
