Thread: apt-get update downloads from sources.list not specifed?

hello,

coworker has build ubuntu server x64 10.04.3 lts used general purpose stuff.

1 of "stuff" local repository / mirror (apt-mirror) sync'd , working fine.

server has it's own sources.list pointing himself (it's self ip address).

when run apt-get update, gets updated "himself" (the mirror) fine, starts download packages

http://old-releases.ubuntu.com karmic release

, many other karmic too.

can old package makes behavour?

karmic not mentioned @ nor in sources.list nor mirror.list.

when run 'apt-get upgrade', tries upgrade sun-java-jre karmic repo.

suggestion?

  • ubuntu server running apt mirror.
  • mirror sync lucid.
  • sources.list sync'd himself
  • karmic appears nothing...

regards,

i found something...

reason admin has installed php 5.2 , added karmic.list inside sources.list.d

conflicting other packages.

@ least found making this.
