Thread: Btrfs and fsck again.

hi all,

first of i'd apologize asking issue again (it seems topic talked on , over), cannot definitive answer.

there or not fsck tool btrfs?

according btrfs wiki:
note btrfs not yet have fsck tool can fix errors.
but wiki seems outdated, no new info half year.

but, on other hand, i've installed ubuntu 11.10 vm test it. created btrfs partitions /root , /home , started system upgrade. during upgrade i've killed vm 9 signal "simulate power failure". after reboot filesystem checked (and repaired?) , system booted normally.

according this wiki page can fsck device issuing eg.
code:
sudo fsck /dev/sda1
.

program package btrfs-tools , installed automatically newest ubuntu?

lastly, existing tools, safe use filesytem everyday purposes (not @ work, home desktop)? has experience such failures already?

fsck.btrfs in btrfs tools package, far can tell scouring web, lists problems finds - cannot fix them. lots of people waiting btrfs fsck can fix problems.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
