sorry if wrong place post this. fixed problem had had no gui ever, because had accidentally unmarked desktop cube, desktop wall, rotate cube, , ubuntu unity plugin in compizconfig settings manager. way fixed typing ccsm& in terminal. worked when opened ccsm check settings desktop cube, rotate cube, , ubuntu unity plugin marked. isn't problem when ever ticked desktop wall , had chosen disable desktop cube compizconfig exit completely. there anyway fix this? oh , sorry long , kinda useless background information.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
