Thread: How do I install java.

i have few java games run (minecraft) , don't know how install java. body help? sorry, im new ubuntu (or linux distro matter)

open software center , search "ubuntu restricted extras"

bundle of things not allowed pre-included in ubuntu, such java, flash, mp3 codecs , others. 1 of first things should install after installed ubuntu on computer.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
