i'm running ubuntu 10.10, i'm admin , there 2 other user accounts family members use in emergency, user 1 that's in use.

couple of months ago logged in ok, system asked keyring password whenever did - load browser, download email, open calendar.

dug answer, of suggestions cure involve instruction , commands don't understand, , i'm reluctant type stuff when don't know it's doing!

can log in password no problems, keyring doesn't password. haven't changed keyring password manually. shouldn't login , keyring password same? i've been afraid use system > pref> password change option in case can't log in @ all!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
