Thread: Read an encrypted file folder by cryptkeeper when it is uninstalled

my encrypted file folder lies in ntfs partition. had accidentally wiped out ubuntu , put in linux mint available linux around. if install cryptkeeper on linux mint , try on same encrypted folder work.

if install cryptkeeper (encfs) on mint , still know password encrypted folder, yes can open it. cryptkeeper on mint can open folder mount point of choosing in filesystem.

have used single encrypted folder , cryptkeeper in several installs open contents when booted various installs, similar situation yours.
