hi friends

create 1 user , remove password,

when trying login in graphically asking password. not asking password

in text mode. create 2 users in different method 1 graphically text based.

using following command.

#useradd -d /home/scan -m scan
#passwd -d scan
# chage -l scan
last password change : jan 09, 2012
password expires : never
password inactive : never
account expires : never
minimum number of days between password change : 0
maximum number of days between password change : 99999
number of days of warning before password expires : 7

guest user in graphically.

can tell me error.

hello & welcome forums,

try going dash menu (the ubuntu icon on sidebar).

type users , groups , select applet

select user want change and, next password field, click change

check box says do not ask password on login

can change automatic login preferences user accounts applet, accessed clicking on username @ top right of screen, , choosing user accounts
