Thread: update manager "important security updates"

i installed ubuntu 11.10 2 weeks ago. update manager asking me install 57 important security updates or 92.5 mb.

should accept these updates regularly? don't enjoy having stuff on machine don't know about. still i'm rather new stuff. should install of these? should install of them, or should install them needed.

advice.

gnu/linux under rapid development. should glad running operating system keeps time, install updates.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
