how interface accepted mic instead of built in vaio realtek mic?

for detailed answer we'd need know computer (mac or pc) you're using, operating system have (version of windows or apple os) , interface have.

 

however, if you're lucky simple going edit/preferences/audio hardware menu in audition , selecting interface under default input menu.  otherwise may need go computer's sound control panel , tell accept interface selected input.  depending on interface, may need open bespoke software came interface , specify of inputs go where.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
