Copy Paste doesnt happen

i encountered weird issue while working on captivate 6. have few objects in screens like, click box, text box, text entery box , etc etc. , now, want copy these standard objects in other screens in project. when select items , right-click > copy, seems being copied. when move desired screen , right-click> paste or press ctrl+v, seems been pasted somewhere not visible on screen

 

and happens of times though not always. have tried, restarting application, restarting system itslef, clearing chache %tem% folder. nothing seems work. mite work next morning.. never know .

 

every time setting properties object in every slide time consuming. copy paste must.

 

can relate kinda issue , provide me inputs?

hi saumya,

 

check 2 things :

 

1) location pasting have master slide? if yes, under slide properties, say, keep master slide objects on top checked, if yes, uncheck it?

2) see objects pasted under timeline? click on them see properties panel appear or highlighetd on screen?

 

try creating blank project , copy same content slide , compare results.
